One of the most important aspects is the XRAq technology transfer, which can be understood in different ways: as a collaboration and information transfer among the different XRAq groups, also participating in national and international research networks with similar objectives themselves and promoting the transfer of technology and services to companies in the sector.

In order to identify areas of collaboration and establish research contacts and technical advice, a diffusion task has to be done to the productive sector to detect its necessities and demands in order to orientate the research to their needs.

The XRAq has maintained his initial transfer and working with the companies, which is evident in the number of contracts that are developed and the fact that meetings between researchers and companies are permanent. It has also participated in several workshops where companies and researchers have debated about issues of common interest. It should highlight the meetings on the necessary research in the area of mollusc Catalan and meeting in the sector that were presented and discussed the results of the Project on winter illnesses. Both meetings took strong sector participation Catalan Aquaculture Center of SantCarles de la Ràpita. In addition , internationally should mention two international workshops on the cultivation of sole, the first in the UK and the second in Cadiz , in the presence of members of the XRAq was important and that there were companies in Spain and other European countries.

Therefore, our future challenges are organized in order to offer a high-quality research that is useful and beneficial to the society around us and participate in the training of qualified personnel that can compete with their counterparts elsewhere. We must be able to maintain constant contact with the permanent and aquaculture sector in our country, allowing us to have an overview of the needs in research and technology and also the requirements training of our students. Identifying social demands,it will be much easier to direct our research and the education of our young people achieve well-being for everyone desired.
