Members of the Department of Animal Physiology, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB2) and IRTA Sant Carles de la Ràpìta are involved in this project. ACUISOST is the acronym for Sustainable Aquaculture and it is leaded by Dibaq-Diproteg company.
This project tackles several key aspects of sustainable aquaculture: nutrition, new cultured species, aquaculture residues management, biosecurity and animal welfare. This 4-year project It is partially funded by the national programme CENIT.
