    Master's and postgraduate courses

    The Official Interuniversity master in Aquaculture

    This organised between three universities (UPC, UAB, UB) which complement each other to give a multidisciplinary training in the field of aquaculture, with an orientation towards research and professional specialization. Currently the University is coordinated by the UB. The master's degree was offered for the first time during the academic year 2006-2007. The duration of the master's degree is 60 to 120 credits according to the origin of the student.

    The objectives main are to give to know the advances in the different crop species in the fields of:

    1. Nutrition, growth and reproduction, and their application in the improvement of the quality of the product.
    2. Knowledge immune, and pathology, providing the necessary tools to make the diagnosis, the treatment and prevention of diseases.
    3. The interaction of aquaculture and the environment.
    4. The design criteria and bases of engineering needed to promote and manage a viable aquaculture system and fundamentals of operation of an aquaculture company
